About the resource

The California Historical Society worked with the California History-Social Science Project to create these free instructional materials to support the implementation of California’s History-Social Science Framework. Each "Inquiry Sets" centers around an investigative question from the History-Social Science Framework and includes a collection of sources, historical background and context for the topic, and teacher and student source notes. Searchable by grade level.
